My country's power production growth rate slowed slightly in October
In October, the power generation of my country's above-scale power plants was 609.4 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 4.6%, and the growth rate was 0.7 percentage points lower than the previous month; the average daily power generation was 19.66 billion kWh, a decrease of 1.39 billion kWh from the previous month. From January to October, the power output was 6,028.8 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 1.4%.
In October, the growth rate of hydropower, wind power, and solar power above designated size accelerated; the growth rate of thermal power and nuclear power turned from positive to negative. Among them, hydropower increased by 25.4% year-on-year, an increase of 2.6 percentage points from the previous month; wind power increased by 14.7%, an increase of 3.4 percentage points; solar power increased by 8.1%, an increase of 4.1 percentage points; thermal power decreased by 1.5%, and increased by 0.2% last month; nuclear power A decrease of 0.3% and an increase of 7.4% last month.
