1. Descriptions

CU or AL conductor, PVC or XLPE insulation, Aluminium Wire Armoured, Black PVC sheath, 0.6/1 kV to AS/NZS 5000.1

3. Constructions

(1) Conductor:Annealed Copper or Aluminium Conductor to AS 1125

(2) Insulation:V-90 or X-90 in accordance with AS/NZS 3808

(3) Bedding: 5V-90 in accordance with AS/NZS 3808

(4) Armour:Single layer of a non-ferromagnetic material(aluminium wire armoured)

(5) Sheath: 5V-90 in accordance with AS/NZS 3808

4. Applications

Armoured power cables are mostly used for buildings, industrial plants, mining and petroleum industry where extra mechanical protection is required. The cables are suitable for installation indoor/outdoor, enclosed in conduit, in underground duct, and buried directly in earth.

XLPE insulation material has better mechanical, electrical, chemical and durability characteristics than PVC
