CU or AL conductor, PVC or XLPE insulation, Black PVC sheath,0.6/1 kV to AS/NZS 5000.1.

3. Construction

(1) Conductor:Annealed Copper or Aluminium Conductor to AS 1125

(2) Insulation: V-90 or X-90 in accordance with AS/NZS 3808  

(3) Sheath: 5V-90 in accordance with AS/NZS 3808 

Core colours:

Two core: Red and Black

Three core: Red, White and Blue

Four core: Red, White, Blue and Black

 

Two core+Earth: Red , Black, Green/Yellow

Three core+Earth: Red, White, Blue, Green/Yellow

Four core+Earth: Red, White, Blue ,Black, Green/Yellow

Five core: Red, White, Blue, Black, Green/Yellow

Sheath colours:Black  

 

4. Applications

Indoors, cable ducts, outdoors and buried in the ground, for power stations, industry and

switchgear as well as for urban supply networks, if mechanical damage is unlikely .

XLPE insulation material has better mechanical, electrical, chemical and durability characteristics than PVC
